Downtown Ansonia CT Pictures
Ansonia is a scenic little town, just like Shelton. I especially like walking in the downtown area of Ansonia. There are lots of small, interesting shops there, from pawn shops to antique shops, small restaurants and cafes. The buildings at the northern end of Main Street are very historical and old. The architechure unique to the valley.
As you can see I had to stop for a red light. This is the full length of Main Street Ansonia looking north. Park your car, get out and take a stroll, walking down one side of the street, and up the other. Visit all the little shops and stop in a cafe for brunch.
Main Street is probably the levelest street in Ansonia. Ansonia is mostly hilly with winding roads. View some of the other pages to get a glimpse of some of the shops on Main Street.
